SimRace 자작형 레이싱 휠 거치대

SimRace(현재 운영 중단)에서 판매하는 알루미늄 프로파일을 이용한 자작형 거치대 킷이다. 실차용 버킷 시트를 사용했으며 모니터 스탠드를 함께 구성한 것이 특징이다. 알루미늄 프로파일은 범용 재료인 만큼 사용자가 원하는 대로 자유롭게 구성할 수 있다는 것이 장점이다. 규격화된 부품이기 때문에 후에 추가적인 구성을 원할 때에도 무리가 없다. 예를 들어 사진처럼 쉬프터 유닛이 별도로 구성된 레이싱 휠을 부착할 경우에도 필요한 부분만 별도로 가공해서 추가할 수 있다. 단점이 있다면 소재 자체는 깔끔하지만 디자인에서는 다소 아쉬움을 느낄 수 있다는 것이다. 만일 직접 설계하고자 한다면 의외로 고려해야 할 부분이 많다는 것을 알게 될 것이다. 일반인들에게는 어려운 일이 될 수도 있다.
참고로 보다 전문성을 띈 기업에서 대량으로 생산되는 제품은 깔끔한 디자인과 마감을 보여준다. 조립 및 완성에 어려움이 없다는 것도 장점이다. 그러나 자유롭게 개조할 수 없다는 점은 단점이 될 수 있다. 사용자의 체형에 맞게 몇몇 구조물을 조절할 수는 있지만 자유롭게 변형하는 데에는 한계가 있기 때문에 새로운 형식의 레이싱 휠을 장착하거나 별도의 악세사리를 추가할 때는 불편을 느낄 수 있다.
국내에 유통되는 기성품으로는 Playseats(위)와 PNS GTs(아래)가 있다.

Hellooo… How are the PaperBoots readers today?.
I have get a great list with all (or almost all, because the SimR and PNS are not included) racing cockpits (and a lot of another racing accesories) of the world market. I thought that I knew of many, but have been able to see that there is very many.
After to see all the race frame links (the first appart of the list), my conclusions are:
· In general, the imagination is scarce: they copy to others.
· I continue thinking that my RRP is the one that has better relation quality-price, after SimR.
· I have found one that has called me enough the attention:

I had seen another two hidraulic systems for cockpits, but only move the seat, and this move all the race frame.
