레이싱 게임 전용 시트(레이싱 휠 거치대)를 생산하는 Playseats와 Logicool(Logitech의 일본 법인)이 양사의 제품을 결합한 새로운 패키지를 내놓았다. 바로 Playseats Evolution과 G25 Racing Wheel이 결합한 프리미엄 팩이 그것이다. 패키지에 포함된 Playseats Evolution은 일반 제품과 달리 G25 Racing Wheel의 쉬프터 유닛을 고정하기 위한 브라켓이 포함되어 있다.
이 제품은 Logicool Online Store를 통해 100대 한정으로 판매될 예정이다. 예약 접수는 2007년 11월 26일 정오부터 개시하며, GT5 Prologue의 발매일인 12월 13일에 맞추어 배송을 시작한다고 한다. 가격은 79,800엔.

Really this is not a new product; it is in the market since a year (sold separate).
I have been seated in a pair of this cockpits, and I think the PlaySeats Evolution is better than the older one, but is not the “ultimate commercial cockpit” (although I could not test it with a g25 still).
The gear support add on (launched after the cockpit) is fixed very low. I see a part to support heels in the pedals holder (good idea).
But really, is the best option for this prize.

Another question: do you think this course “GT25″ really will be launched?. I don´t find nothing about it in the Polyphony and Logicool web sites, and supposedly it must be launched in 20 days. And with the announcement of this PS Evo + G25… (why not PS Evo + GT25?)…
Will it be another invention of IGN?
Rebla47 // No. a G25 is just a G25. They are joking. There may be a special version which has a GT logo plate in front of the wheel like DFP, but mechanally it must be identical.
It would be better to expect a revision B in the future.
